A private transfer from London to the Southampton cruise terminals

Southampton is the UK’s busiest cruise port, around 80 miles south-west of London. Reaching it with a week or two of luggage is the awkward part of the holiday: the train from London Waterloo leaves you at Southampton Central, still a taxi ride from the ship.

D&J collects you at your door and takes you to your cruise terminal in one journey. We are a family-run private hire operator licensed by Transport for London, every journey is pre-booked, and the price is agreed in advance.

Where we collect in London

We collect from hotels, homes and offices across Greater London, from the West End and the City to Canary Wharf and the outer boroughs. If your party is staying at more than one address, add an extra pickup in the booking form and we will plan a single route.

Staying in a London hotel before your cruise? Give us the hotel name and the time you would like to leave, and your driver will collect you there. Pickups inside the central London Congestion Charge zone are taken into account when we prepare your quote.

Which Southampton terminal?

Southampton has five cruise terminals: City, Mayflower and Horizon in the Western Docks, and Ocean and QEII in the Eastern Docks. They are in different parts of the port, so tell us the terminal named on your cruise documents, or simply the ship and the sailing date. Planning your pickup time

Cruise lines give each passenger an arrival window for check-in. Tell us yours and we will suggest a pickup time that allows for traffic leaving London. We do not publish a single journey time, because it changes a great deal with the day and the hour.

Tell us how many passengers are travelling and how many large cases and hand luggage items you have, and we will recommend a vehicle that fits your party.

How your quote and booking work

1. Enter your pickup, your Southampton cruise terminal, date, time, passengers and luggage in the booking form, or send the same details on WhatsApp.
2. D&J confirms your fixed price. Cruise transfers are quoted individually, based on the journey, the vehicle and the date.
3. Once you accept the quote, we confirm your booking. Nothing is booked until you have agreed the price.

Returning to London after your cruise

We also collect from Southampton when your ship returns, and take you to your London address, to Heathrow or to Gatwick. Ask for both directions in the same quote and send us your disembarkation time when your cruise line confirms it.
